Field & Infusion Nurse (RN) - Float 1 year contract

Overview

Apply now to join our team as a Field & Infusion Nurse (RN) on a 1-year contract. We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide exceptional care in our specialized clinic locations.

Job Details

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Administer medications (IV, SC, IM) in accordance with Health Canada standards and Product Monographs.
• Assess and monitor infusion and injection treatments as per protocols.
• Complete documentation adhering to policies, College of Nurses guidelines, and ISO standards.
• Report adverse events and product complaints following company procedures.
• Work five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts weekly, within Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 7 pm; no night shifts or statutory holidays; one Saturday per month.
• Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to meet deadlines.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and specialized pharmaceutical trainings.
• Follow professional nursing standards and clinic operating procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Complete ongoing education and training as required.
• Utilize digital platforms for learning and work-related tasks.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with relevant experience.
• At least 1 year of IV initiation experience.
• Current nursing registration and CPR certification.
• Experience in critical care, emergency, or outpatient settings.
• Additional certifications (ACLS, PALs, MS, CVAA) and central line experience are assets.
• Proficient in MS Office and internet use.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and travel within designated areas.

Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry is a plus.
• Strong critical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.

The role involves daily interaction with English-speaking patients and team members.
