Field Geologist

This role can be based in Vaughan Ontario, or one of our offices in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Your role within the team:

• Plan, coordinate and execute ground investigations for transportation, infrastructure and mining projects.
• Install and monitor geotechnical instrumentation.
• Downhole permeability testing.
• Collaborate with teams to further technological and digital advancement.
• Work on large projects with other groups such and Hydrogeological, Environmental and Geomatics cross training as required to achieve common goal.
• Adhere to rules and procedures that ensure the health and safety of employees and the environment as well as the prevention of workplace incidents.
• Be proactive in improving HSE policies and procedures to mitigate hazards related to your work.

The ideal candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience or Geological Engineering and 5+ years of related experience.
• P.Geo. or P.Eng. designation.
• Ability to work and travel throughout Ontario with the potential for out-of-province assignments.
