Job summary

Weatherford in Clairmont, Alberta is seeking a Gas Lift Field/Optimization Specialist to lead in-field gas lift operations, perform startups, and optimize well performance. You will interact with Field Engineers and Operators, coordinate shop and field tasks, and ensure adherence to Weatherford safety procedures. The role requires field readiness, safety training, and ability to operate related software tools.

Qualifications

Knowledgeable and comfortable in both shop and field settings.
Must have a valid country/regional driver’s license with a clean abstract.
Regulatory safety training certificates such as CSO, H2S, First Aid & CPR are required.
Ability to perform basic computer functions as required.
Able to read manuals and work instructions.

Responsibilities

Perform field and shop tasks as Weatherford Gas Lift Field/Optimization Specialist.
On-site gas lift well packer-less installations and startups; troubleshoot and optimize with listed tools.
Liaise with Field Engineers, Superintendents, Foremen and Operators; follow up after jobs.
Shop coverage: build equipment, manage orders, and tear down reports.
Maintain safe work areas and comply with Weatherford safety policies.
Participate in safety meetings and complete required training certifications.
Ensure inventory is properly tracked and weekly truck cycle counts are done.
