Weatherford Canada seeks a Repair & Maintenance Technician to inspect, test, repair and maintain electronic, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment including downhole tools. You will follow company procedures and contribute to reliability and performance of field tools while advancing your career in the oil and gas industry.

Senior positions will mentor R&M team members, lead activities, and manage parts and repair cost estimates as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 0-2 years of experience in Oil & Gas.
• Basic computer skills and mathematics.
• Experience with hazardous materials, radioactive elements and explosives.
• Awareness of NDT, NDE and ATEX policies and principles.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, retrofits and upgrades on a wide range of equipment.
• Repair machines and structures using hand tools and precision instruments.
• Assemble, install and repair wiring, electrical/electronic components and pipe systems.
• Conduct testing and calibration tasks following documented policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot electronic, mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic equipment and data acquisition systems.
• Complete Work Orders, AIRTs, PFTs and repair documentation accurately.
• Lead and oversee R&M team activities in senior roles and mentor others.
