Your impact
It takes a great team to deliver the environmental projects that clean up our communities and improve our natural resources, and that includes those who coordinate travel and equipment for field workers to the field.
As a Field Equipment Coordinator, you will support our various field programs by performing a variety of tasks including resolving issues and communicating with internal customers. Working out of Prince George you will primarily be working on providing and maintaining equipment out of our Prince George Warehouse for Jacobs employees and subcontractors.
Additionally, you will help with administrative tasks including processing internal billing which ties into data entry, filing and clerical tasks related to inventory control, tracking and follow-up with staff regarding equipment and vehicles requested from across Canada. You will be required to work alone with the support of a team based out of our Calgary Office along with other locations across Canada to deliver small equipment requests and vehicles to and from various locations and offices; pick up items from various vendors and suppliers. This position will start as a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension or transfer into full-time position based on workload.
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, handling requests by phone and email that often require quick turnarounds. Working with other members of our team, you will quickly learn the shipping and receiving processes of different delivery/shipping companies. The base salary range for this position is $45,000.00 to $68,090.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across British Columbia, Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
