The Position

Field Engineering Specialist - Hawaii

The Opportunity:

Responsibilities:
  • Showcase expertise in technical repair for Roche products.
  • Provide valuable service to laboratory customers in your territory.
  • Offer routine technical support, on-site service, and repair of Roche products.
  • Serve as a customer contact for technical issues and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system failures.
  • Document activities, contribute to quality improvement, and maximize customer satisfaction.

This is a field-based role covering Hawaii and Guam, with travel up to 60%.

Who You Are:
  • High school diploma and 2 years of technical training or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience in repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking, or a relevant Bachelor's degree plus 1-2 years of experience.
  • Training or certification as defined by RD Services Leadership.
  • Ability to travel, including overnight stays.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience or a relevant Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years of experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, and IT.
  • Ability to provide support after hours, maintain customer relationships, and serve as an internal technical resource.

Relocation benefits are available. Salary range for Hawaii: $72,300 - $134,300, based on experience and other factors. Benefits are detailed at the provided link.
