The Field Engineering Lead serves as the on-site technical authority for field engineering at the K+S Potash Canada (KSPC) Bethune site. The role ensures that construction execution aligns with the design intent, scope of work, engineering drawings, and quality specifications, all while maintaining strict compliance with KSPCs safety standards. -Bachelors degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
-Demonstrated commitment to safety in safety-sensitive environments.
-Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Saskatchewan (preferred); P.Tech designation with extensive field experience will also be considered.
-10+ years of experience in heavy industrial or mining environments; 7+ years in field engineering roles.
-Deep understanding of mechanical systems and interdisciplinary construction coordination.
-Proven QA/QC knowledge and familiarity with inspection, testing, and turnover documentation.
-Knowledge of CSA, ASME, API codes and ISO quality standards.
-PMP certification is considered an asset, particularly for candidates with responsibilities in planning and scheduling.
-This is a site-based, safety-sensitive position that may involve rotational schedules or extended field presence as construction demands evolve.
-Proficiency in Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office.
Employment is subject to successfully completing KSPCs pre-employment checks which may include criminal record check, education verification, functional fitness evaluation and drug & alcohol testing.
