Job summary
A leading energy sector company is seeking a Field Engineer to support site execution activities at the Kearl Oil Sands project in Fort McKay, Alberta. This role involves providing technical support, interpreting engineering drawings, and troubleshooting field issues. Successful candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5-10 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas or construction sectors. This is a fly-in/fly-out position, with a schedule of 14/7 shifts, offering camp accommodations.
Qualifications
5–10 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably in field engineering, construction, oil & gas, or mining.
Experience in oil sands mining or large-scale industrial projects is a strong asset.
Responsibilities
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to respond to contractor technical queries.
Provide real-time technical support for constructability and installation issues.
Support troubleshooting of piping and mechanical issues in the field.
