Job summary

Medallion Energy Services Inc. in Grande Prairie, AB is seeking Electric Journeypersons and Electrical Apprentices for on-site work in oil and gas facilities.

The role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems following Canadian Electrical Code and company procedures. You will read schematics, perform wiring and terminations, conduct inspections and testing, and document work.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade certification Journeyperson or registered apprentice; eligible to work in Alberta.
• Experience with industrial electrical systems, preferably in oil and gas.
• Solid understanding of Canadian Electrical Code and safety regulations.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Willing to work varying shifts or overtime; valid driver’s license; CSTS/H2S Alive/First Aid assets.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment used in oil and gas operations.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Perform wiring and terminations, inspections and testing.
• Document work performed in logs and reports.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other trades; support project planning and execution.
• Contribute to a strong safety culture by following HSE policies and attending safety meetings.
