About The Role

Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Field Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Superintendents in the coordination, scheduling, reporting, and quality control functions on construction projects within our Buildings Group.

This is a fixed term position starting as soon as possible and ending in September 2026

As a Field Coordinator At Graham, You Will

  • Update weekly planning schedules and monitor labour materials and equipment activities on the project
  • Work with the Construction Manager and Superintendent to update project schedule and field coordination plans
  • Assist with the review, coordination, and implementation of the project-specific safety plan
  • Attend all project team meetings, record meeting minutes, action items, and present updates
  • Assist with drawings, drawing records, revisions, site instructions and change orders
  • Obtain and provide written documentation for all clarifications and instructions
  • Support the Construction Manager and Superintendent with creating templates and supporting documents on behalf of project team regarding roles and responsibilities
  • Assist in gathering data required for input of regular status reports for company executives and project steering committees
  • Assist and monitor payroll functions to ensure the project team is using proper codes and cost allocation
  • Build effective relationships with customers, design team, subcontractors, suppliers, and user groups
  • Review the Field Surveillance Reports and initiate NCRs based on analysis and severity of findings
  • Maintain safety and QA/QC records
  • Ensure responsibility for own health and safety, and that of other workers, visitors to the site(s), the community, and the environment in line with client requirements, Occupational Health and Safety regulations, and all applicable government laws and regulations

Qualifications/ Experience

  • Completion of a Construction related Degree or Diploma training program
  • 2+ years of Project Coordination experience on commercial construction projects with a General Contractor
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Excel, Primavera, OnScreen Takeoff, Bluebeam or BIM modelling are assets
  • Collaborative team player with an exceptionally proactive mindset
  • A passion for building innovative construction projects
