Job summary

EMP Trust HR Solutions is seeking an Electronics Technician (E-Tech) to maintain and repair instrumentation and equipment, ensuring reliable operation and service quality on site. You will perform preventative maintenance, start-up procedures, inspect cables, and communicate with frac supervisor; follow LOTO and safety protocols.

The role requires an electronics background and the ability to work independently within a team.

Qualifications

• Must have electronics background (military, vocational, oilfield).
• Ability to work independently while in a team environment.
• Ability to think and act quickly.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper start-up of all software and communications with all equipment.
• Visually inspects all cables.
• Communicates with frac supervisor prior to start-up.
• Performs repairs to equipment; follows LOTO procedures.
• Walks site to ensure equipment is shut-down and assists with housekeeping.
