Key Responsibilities
- Help drive supplier performance in the field.

- Support multiple customers in the market: AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile.
- Visit each construction site at least once during the construction phase.
- Conduct field visits (75-80% or more of their time) to educate and support crews in the field.
- Perform safety audits to ensure compliance and identify potential hazards.
- Address and resolve field issues promptly or escalate them as needed to improve internal processes.
- Collaborate with crews to remove roadblocks, drive results, and enhance performance without micromanaging.
- Provide feedback to improve Ericsson’s tools, processes, and workflows.
Description:
The Field Performance Advisor (FPA) is responsible for driving optimal performance and continuous improvement among our Suppliers by engaging in regular site visits to consult and engage directly with Suppliers to correct real-time discrepancies and identify ways to improve crew effectiveness, tool utilization, and quality. The FPA will utilize their knowledge and expertise to consult with Suppliers and develop process improvements that can be integrated across sites and markets throughout the country. The FPA role will partner directly with market Suppliers as a representative of Ericsson to share feedback, recommendations, and work closely with various support groups to implement more efficient and standardized ways of working.
Job Responsibilities
- Review and analyze site performance metrics, including cycle time, close out package (COP) first time right, Job Hazard Assessment (JHA) compliance, Ericsson tool utilization, build quality, and customer-specific requirements.
- Identify Supplier performance areas needing improvement based on site review and analysis; provide feedback to the Territory Director and Suppliers; partner with Suppliers to correct, adapt, and respond to feedback.
- Engage with suppliers on-site to conduct root-cause analysis of performance deficiencies, troubleshoot problems, and ensure real-time correction of safety and construction discrepancies.
- Strategically plan daily and weekly site and supplier visits to meet key targets and drive market performance, considering KPIs and current needs.
- Support Ericsson’s Senior Construction Managers and Project Management teams by reviewing and evaluating market-level on-site requests, such as supporting customer meetings, site access, and validating construction drawings.
- Design and develop process improvements for Supplier’s site construction processes and Ericsson tools to increase efficiency and quality; collaborate with Automation teams for tool development and adjustments.
- Collaborate with other Field Performance Advisors nationwide to identify systemic issues and propose cross-market improvements.
- Collect and report supplier performance data to support process changes and new feature deployments.
- Build strong relationships with market Suppliers to foster continuous improvement and mutual feedback.
- Ensure Suppliers understand and adhere to Ericsson and customer processes, methods, and tools applicable to their sites.
- Continuously improve Ericsson and customer-specific information and training for delivery performance, utilizing Site Tracker and Power BI metrics.
- Support governance for quarterly Supplier business reviews (QBRs), reporting field findings, actions, and recommendations.

Qualifications and Experiences
- Minimum 7+ years relevant work/industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience providing design solutions and guidance on operations.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and procedures.
- Experience managing general contractor suppliers and estimating scopes of work.
- Knowledge of and ability to enforce Ericsson and customer construction and quality standards.
- Ability to interface with customers, property owners, and external personnel.
- Knowledge of contracts and financial aspects.
- Proven ability to develop positive relationships with external partners.
- Leadership experience or influence over teams.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations; OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
- Experience with Ericsson equipment is a plus.
