Job summary

Saltworks Technologies Inc. in Canada seeks an Intermediate Commissioning Engineer/Technologist to lead commissioning of advanced clean technology systems for major clients.

You will plan, execute, and hand over complex projects, mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with internal teams and customers. The role involves 50% travel to customer sites, with field rotations of 2–3 weeks and potential longer periods.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Integrated, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of commissioning or project delivery experience in industrial settings.
• P.Eng eligibility with EGBC for Professional Engineers.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards and hydrostatic testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning projects from initiation to handover with cross-functional teams.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and resource plans for commissioning activities.
• Standardize procedures for factory and field commissioning.
• Represent Saltworks at customer sites globally and ensure successful handover.
• Mentor junior engineers and technologists and drive continuous improvement.
