Job summary

Ambipar Response Canada Inc. is seeking an Environmental Consultant to support environmental projects in Alberta.

This role is primarily field-based and involves travel to our Alberta operations, conducting site assessments, groundwater monitoring, reclamation activities, and data collection. The ideal candidate has at least one year of field experience and will work with experienced professionals to develop technical and project management skills while ensuring compliance with environmental

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of environmental field experience.
• Co-op, internship, or related field experience is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of Saskatchewan and/or Alberta environmental regulations is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental projects, including Phase II and Phase III Environmental Site Assessments.
• Assist with groundwater monitoring and environmental sampling.
• Conduct site assessments, field investigations, and data collection.
• Assist with reclamation, remediation, and environmental restoration activities.
• Support field activities such as tree planting and site reclamation.
• Maintain accurate field notes, records, and project documentation.
• Assist with project planning, reporting, and technical documentation.
• Ensure project activities meet client, regulatory, and safety requirements.
• Follow company and client health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Communicate field observations and project updates to Project Managers and team members.
• Apply current environmental regulations and industry practices to project activities.
