Field Attendant

We are looking for multiple Field Attendants for our Hadashville site. Our ideal candidates will enjoy working outdoors in a seasonal role, operating machinery to harvest peat. This role requires the ability to work flexible hours depending on the weather. We have local housing available!

JOB SUMMARY:

1. Responsible for harvesting peat in our fields at our Hadashville site;
2. Operate a tractor or a vacuum harvester;
3. Responsible for general and preventive maintenance of the equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Driving experience preferred;
2. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot;
3. Results-oriented, self-starter;
4. Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision;
5. Operating a tractor considered an asset;
6. Prior field/harvesting experience considered an asset.
