Caltech Surveys Ltd. is seeking a Field Assistant in Weyburn, SK. You will work with experienced Survey Party Chiefs on diverse projects, gaining hands-on experience with industry-leading technology while contributing to energy, infrastructure, land development, and construction efforts across Western Canada.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather, terrain, and environmental conditions.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to successfully complete required pre-access drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside Survey Party Chiefs on a variety of survey projects.
• Operate GPS and other advanced survey equipment.
• Assist with staking, boundary marking, and locating survey evidence.
• Operate equipment such as ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, company trucks, pipe locators, and other field tools.
• Record, manage, and verify field data.
• Maintain survey equipment and vehicles.
• Travel to project locations and work in a variety of terrain and environmental conditions.
• Support a strong safety culture and follow established safety procedures.
