The Field Applications Analyst II for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the installation and support of instrumentation which may include Chemistry/Immunoassay platforms, Automations and Middleware, and others as determined by customer needs. The goal is to ensure the analyzers meet Beckman Coulter stated requirements in the customer laboratory environment.

This position is part of the Canadian Field Applications Specialist Team located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and will be fully remote. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Canadian Applications Specialist Team and report to Leann Courage, Manager of Applications responsible for addressing customer questions and concerns regarding instrument operation and assay performance, in accordance with published specifications and regulatory body requirements. The individual works closely with many cross functional teams including Field Service, Sales, Customer Training and Technical Support. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

1. Ensure customer is fully prepared for analyzer verification and meeting milestones for established implementation timeline.
2. Complete Verification studies on instrumentation including, but not limited to instrument set-up, calibration, precision, linearity studies, and method comparisons.
3. Provide onsite training for accurate operation of instrumentation.
4. Handle and support customer satisfaction to sustain the growth of the business.
5. Work collaboratively across the business to build partnerships with the marketing, service, and sales teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.

The essential requirements of the job include:

1. Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Science or related field with 2+ years’ experience in Laboratory/Diagnostic instrumentation or related field.
2. Fluent in English, spoken and written.
3. Advanced understanding of Diagnostics or Healthcare Industry with heavy emphasis on Laboratory Regulatory environment.
4. Must be willing to travel domestically at least 70% of the time (based on the need of the position) and willing to work out of home-based office.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

1. Registered with the Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS).
2. Familiarity with Standard Laboratory Practices, including Quality Control, record keeping, and regulatory requirements (CAP, CLIA, IQMH, EQAS).
3. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SmartSheet, and EP Evaluator.

The salary range for this role is $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 CAD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
