Job Title:Field Application Engineer

What you will be doing:

  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between our customers and internal engineering/product teams.

  • Assist the sales team with pre-sales technical support, including presentations, demos, and technical evaluations.

  • Understand customer requirements and help architect solutions using our technologies.

  • Support onboarding, integration, and deployment of products in client environments.

  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting, configuration assistance, and guidance to resolve customer technical issues.

  • Develop and deliver technical training, documentation, and workshops for customers.

  • Collect and communicate customer feedback to influence product features and roadmap.

  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies.


What you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role such as FAE, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Support.

  • Strong foundation in one or more of the following areas:

    • Embedded systems and firmware development

    • Cloud or edge computing (Azure, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, etc.)

    • Networking and IoT device deployment

    • AI/ML application integration

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.

  • Experience with scripting or development tools (e.g., Python, C/C++, Bash).

  • Ability to travel (10–30%) within Canada and internationally as required.

Salary/Rate Range: $90,000 – $100,000
