An established industry player seeks a skilled Field & Service Mechanic to join their aircraft maintenance team. This role involves maintaining F-35 aircraft, requiring expertise in aircraft inspection, repair, and modification. Must have been previously awarded a 5 or 7 Skill level USAF AFSC, Navy NEC, or Marine MOS discipline. 6 years minimum aircraft maintenance experience or 3 years F-35 specific.
Experience with reading and interpreting Engineering Drawings, Blueprints and instructions.
Experience with Safety, Tool Control, FOD, Supply, HAZMAT, Training, Quality, and Security programs.
Experience with Maintenance documentation systems such as Electronic Maintenance Instructions and Aircraft Forms Documentation.
RF3017:Field & Service Mechanic - OS
The F-35 is the first tactical aircraft system to have sustainment tools designed in concert with the air vehicle to optimize operations. This focus on sustainment, together with economies of scale realized from a global supply chain for more than 3,000 aircraft, will help control the costs associated with maintaining a fleet of 5th Generation fighters.

This position will be part of the aircraft maintenance team supporting the JSF program at Edwards Air Force Base, CA. This position will require the employee to work in a team environment maintaining F-35 aircraft. Tasks will include items such as aircraft Inspection, servicing, repair, overhaul, modification, fabrication, and weapon loading as required.

The base range for this position in California is $31.76 - $50.48. The wage range and benefits summary is a general guideline and is governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer.
