We are currently hiring for Field Adjusters to join our Property Claims team. This role will be home-based, and we are looking for field adjusters in the Greater Toronto Area!

What you’ll do:

• Complete on-site and/or virtual inspections of personal and commercial claims.
• Capture the scope of damages and write repair estimates to settle claims.
• Reconcile and validate vendor estimates to ensure price and scope are appropriate.
• Investigate by meeting with insureds, third parties, witnesses, and lawyers to obtain facts and information.
• Review facts, policies, technical reports, fire marshal reports, case law, and make decisions on coverage, claim value, and negotiate/settle claims accordingly.
• Provide exemplary customer service and keep relevant parties informed of the claims status.
• Ensure data accuracy, issue payments to insureds, vendors, and other insurance companies.
• Assist during CAT events within Canada.
• Correspond with third parties, lawyers, insureds, brokers, and others involved in claim settlements.

What you’ll bring:

• 2+ years of experience as a Field Adjuster handling Personal Lines and Commercial Lines claims.
• Strong background in Property Insurance.
• Preference given to candidates able to scope damages and prepare repair estimates.
• Good PC skills and adaptability to new technology.
• Valid driver’s license.
