Job description

Synergy Land Services Ltd. (Synergy) is pleased to offer an opportunity to join our busy team as a Fibre Access Specialist, in our Calgary office. As a Fibre Access Specialist, your main priority would be to engage building owners via phone or email in order to obtain consent to facilitate the installation of fibre upgrades necessary for faster internet speeds, improved network security, and access to future technologies.

Synergy is dedicated to providing high-quality land and right-of-way services for projects ranging from large-scale pipeline, power transmission, transportation/infrastructure, telecommunications, upstream oil and gas, renewables, and mineral acquisition.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Pull titles, conduct corporate searches in Alberta and BC
  2. Research building owner contact info
  3. Engage building owners with initial proposal and consent form for review, follow-up with building owners to address questions, and guide through the process
  4. Process and receive updates on status
  5. Draft Right-of-Entry (ROE) consent forms
  6. Negotiate and secure executed Right-of-Entry (ROE) consent forms from building owners (via email or DocuSign)
  7. Update client database daily with progress details
  8. Meet with client bi-weekly to review progress
  9. Coordinate with client/building owners when necessary to facilitate access for construction

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Telecommunications sales call or acquisition experience is an asset
