Job summary

Charm Fertility in Brampton, Ontario, is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to work autonomously within a collaborative team. You will participate in establishing clinical standards, deliver evidence-based nursing care, and guide patients through treatment cycles.

You will administer medications, teach self-injections, and coordinate with physicians and staff to support women and families. A strong focus on compassionate care and patient education is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences preferred.
• Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses.
• 2-3 years of medical/surgical fertility experience preferred.
• BCLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients and families in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment.
• Administer medications and collect blood as part of treatment cycles.
• Educate patients on treatment cycles and how to administer self-injections.
• Maintain standards of clinical practice per the Ontario College of Nurses.
• Participate in continuous quality assessment on an ongoing basis.
• Work toward attaining the highest possible patient satisfaction.
• Coordinate care for women and their partners receiving treatment with the team and other facilities.
• Utilize an EMR to document patient care.
