About the Job

As a Haul Truck Driver, you will drive powerful, heavy quarry trucks, and do regular and preventative maintenance on trucks and other plant equipment.

Based out of our Severn location.

What You’ll Be Doing

  1. Perform and document all daily pre-operational checkups on the truck being used.
  2. Perform daily general maintenance such as greasing and fluid revision and top ups as required.
  3. Report any immediate repairs required for the safe operation of the equipment to the direct Supervisor.
  4. Operate equipment in the most efficient manner as possible, striving to reduce cycle times and overall downtime while observing the companies safety policies.
  5. Use all required PPE at all times when leaving the equipment’s operator station.
  6. Abide by the maximum speed limits posted at each quarry, pit, or construction project site.

Here’s What You Need

  1. Will have some experience working around heavy equipment.
  2. Must have a valid G license in good standing.
  3. Common Core training will be considered an asset.
