Classification: Clinical Nurse Consultant (ZF4)
Salary: $2,245.40 per week FTE + GCHAM Cert allowance (if applicable)
Working Hours: Part Time - Min 2 days per week up to full Time – 76 hours per fortnight
Basis of Employment: Fixed Term contract until 30 June 2026

The National Centre for Farmer Health is a research, service delivery, and education centre providing national leadership to improve the health, wellbeing, and safety of farm men and women, farm workers, their families, and communities across Australia. It is a partnership between WDHS and Deakin University, based in Hamilton, Victoria.
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated registered nurse to join the National Centre for Farmer Health (NCFH) in Hamilton, Victoria. The centre delivers specialised multidisciplinary, integrated agricultural health services, research, training, and education to farmers, rural professionals, and students across Australia.
We are seeking a passionate Farmer Health Clinician to enhance the health, wellbeing, and safety of farmers and agricultural communities. The role involves delivering AgriSafe Clinics, conducting Health and Lifestyle Assessments, providing clinical advice, and representing NCFH at educational forums. You will contribute to research, ensure quality clinical practices, and collaborate with agrihealth professionals. While we aim to fill a full-time position, we welcome applications from candidates seeking flexible hours, including school-friendly options or part-time work to balance their commitments.
The position requires a registered nurse with Division 1 qualification, a minimum of 3 years' postgraduate experience, and current registration with AHPRA. The successful candidate will have a passion for rural and farmer health, with a thorough understanding of agricultural exposures and occupational risks. Completion or willingness to complete the postgraduate unit HMF701 Agricultural Health & Medicine through Deakin University is required.
A valid driver's license is essential, as travel to remote locations is involved. The candidate must be self-sufficient, organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in maintaining patient records, coordinating referrals, and managing appointments. A commitment to excellent customer service and building positive relationships with staff, community, students, farmers, and partners is essential.

The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a current National Criminal Police Check.
