Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is seeking workers for our on-site farming operations in the Keremeos area. You will be involved in hands-on tasks such as cleaning, cutting, sorting, and packing a variety of fruits and vegetables. No formal education is required and training will be provided onsite.

Work is in a rural environment with staff housing options; ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and work physically demanding days is essential. A team-oriented approach is valued.

Responsibilities

• Clean the crops.
• Cut agricultural crops.
• Divide harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots.
• Grade vegetables and fruits by size, shape, colour and volume for market pricing.
• Hand harvest vegetables.
• Pack fruits and vegetables for sale.
• Pick row and orchard crops.
• Sort fruits and vegetables.
• Weed fields.
• Harvest crops.
• Examine product quality and market readiness.
