Job summary

Autism Services in Canada is seeking a team-oriented farm worker to perform general farm duties, crop care, and equipment operation. This role involves planting, weeding, harvesting, and maintaining fields under the supervision of a farm manager.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in all weather, and be punctual and reliable. Evening and day shifts available; on-site work with a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizers
• Clean the crops
• Cut agricultural crops
• Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
• Seed cutting
• Weeding
• Clean work area
• Fertilize and spray crops
• Harvest crops
• Load, unload and transfer crates, supplies and farm produce, livestock and poultry
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Report any malfunctions to supervisor
• Perform general farm duties
• Mix and prepare soils
• Maintain work areas
