Job summary

Toor Eastwood Farm in Kelowna, BC, is seeking a Farm worker, fruit to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis. This daytime role focuses on hands-on vineyard and crop tasks, with opportunities to grow within a busy fruit farming operation.

The successful candidate will care for vines and grapes, monitor environmental conditions, water and irrigate crops, harvest produce, operate farm machinery, and help ensure high-quality fruit ready for market. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English language.
• Training will be provided to the selected candidate.

Responsibilities

• Dose water saturation, light, and temperature as directed for crop growth and development.
• Maintain and manage growth of vines, vine canopy and grapes.
• Monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns.
• Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• Fertilize and spray crops.
• Harvest crops.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• Detect disease and health issues in crops, livestock, and poultry.
• Examine the product’s quality and readiness for market.
