Job summary

Clintar Landscape Management is hiring Farm Tractor Operators for the 2026/2027 Winter Season to join our ice and snow management team. These are on-call positions, often overnight, with standby pay and potential for permanent roles after winter.

You must be available 24/7, including holidays, and capable of operating John Deere tractors with a standard transmission. A valid Ontario G license and smartphone access are required for timesheets and LMN usage.

Qualifications

• Must be available on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during the winter season, including holidays.
• Respond promptly to snow and ice events, including freezing rain, overnight calls, and extended shifts.
• Experience operating farm tractors in snowy conditions is a strong asset.
• Experience with John Deere 6150 and 5100 is preferred.
• Must be able to drive STANDARD.
• Must possess a valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment to clear snow and move it to designated snow storage areas.
• Protect customer property, vehicles, landscaping, curbs, and other site features while maintaining safe, clean work sites.
• Follow site maps, route books, and site-specific instructions using the LMN system.
• Communicate with supervisors and dispatch regarding site conditions, work progress, delays, equipment issues, and incidents.
• Report equipment malfunctions, hazards, property damage, and safety concerns promptly to your Winter Supervisor.

Clintar Landscape Management is hiring Farm Tractor Operators for the 2026/2027 Winter Season. Join our dedicated ice and snow management team, focused on efficient clearing and de-icing operations. These are on-call positions, often overnight, and dependent on winter conditions. Candidates must be available on short notice, 24/7, including weekends and holidays. We service commercial, industrial, and institutional properties throughout the region. For suitable candidates, there may be opportunities for permanent employment at the end of the Winter Season.

Now Hiring:

• Tractor Operators experienced with John Deere 6150 & John Deere 5100 Farm Tractors

Compensation:

• $30 to $35 (based on experience) plus $150 to $250 weekly standby pay for the Winter Season (standby is based off experience)

• Must demonstrate good judgment, attention to detail, and a commitment to safe equipment operation and excellent customer service
• Must follow all company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements
• Must report to work alert, fit for duty, and free from impairment that could affect the safe operation of equipment
• Must possess a valid Ontario Class G driver's licence with a good driving record when operating vehicles
