Key responsibilities would include:

- Manage permanent and seasonal farm staff

- Work with the farm owner to develop and execute an annual farm plan

- Manage and allocate resources effectively, including labor, equipment, and materials

- Manage equipment repair and keep accurate records of work done on equipment

- Keep all equipment in good repair and up to date on for annual safety inspections

- Lead, mentor, and train farm staff on operational procedures, safety practices, and equipment

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions

Required ;

- Ag Equipment technician certificate or Ag Diploma from a recognized college or university

- 5+ years of experience in management or agriculture operations

- Experience with precision agriculture technologies

- Familiarity with modern farming equipment and machinery

- Willing to work long hours during peak planting and harvest season
