Job summary

Devick's Ranch Ltd is seeking an experienced Farm Supervisor to manage daily farm operations on site in a rural setting. The role requires 2-3 years of supervisory experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities include planning daily activities, supervising breeding programs, maintaining livestock records, and ensuring safety with proper PPE and teamwork. Steel-toed boots required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in farm supervision or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Job description

Looking for experienced Farm Supervisor with 2-3 years experience.

Must be able to be on site daily to complete tasks (Rural environment)

We are looking for someone who is able to work in a fast paced environment and is self motivated. Work days may be long and phyically demanding. Attention to detail is important to maintain the safety of the animals and other staff members.

Site environment:

• Exposed to all weather elements
• Around livestock and potential other animals

Duties include:

• Developing plans for each day
• Handling Livestock
• Maintain livestock performance records
• Maintain quality control and production records
• Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock – related programs
• Ability to operate heavy machinary (tractor/wheel loading/bailer)

Other important notes:

• Steel toe shoes are a must
• Must be excellent at communication verbally and written
• Must work well in a team
