Job summary

JF Murray Farms Ltd. is seeking farm workers to support day-to-day operations at our Alberta location. The role involves hands-on animal care, crop cultivation, irrigation, and general maintenance of farm equipment. You will work with a team to ensure timely planting, growing, and harvesting cycles.

The position requires physical fitness, previous farming experience, and a willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. On-site work only, with RRSP and health benefits available.

Qualifications

• No degree, certificate or diploma is required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
• On-site work with no remote option.
• Physically demanding work responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Handle animals and manage livestock needs.
• Organize tasks to accomplish daily farm work.
• Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops.
• Treat livestock health issues.
• Fertilize and spray crops as needed.
• Harvest crops and maintain harvest cycles.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• Provide crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting.
• Coordinate and supervise general farm workers and harvest laborers.
• Maintain accurate work records and logs.
• Performa general farm duties as assigned.
