Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. in Saskatchewan is seeking a dedicated farm worker for a permanent rural operation focused on dry pea and bean farming.

The role requires 35 to 50 hours per week, English language proficiency, and no formal degree, with 2–3 years of relevant experience preferred. You will perform tasks from crop cleaning to planting, harvesting and equipment maintenance, while keeping records and supporting a small team in a demanding outdoor setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Clean the crops
  • Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas
  • Clear fields of wood and stones
  • Cut agricultural seed according to farm standards
  • Deleaf agricultural crops to accelerate ripening
  • Develop specific plans to prioritize
  • Direct farm feed inventory activities
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Organize tasks to accomplish the work
  • Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
  • Weeding
  • Fertilize and spray crops
  • Harvest crops
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • Maintain quality control and production records
  • Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations
