Job description

MATRIX is a national company providing camps, logistics and aviation management services to a variety of clients across the resource and service sectors. We are dedicated to supporting local communities through the jobs we create and the services we provide. MATRIX is a drug and alcohol-free company, continually striving to ensure a safe and productive work environment.

We are currently seeking Farm Labourers to join our operations on an off-grid property near McBride, BC. As a Farm Labourer, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that ensure the effective and efficient improvement of this unique property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with construction and carpentry projects.
  • Operate and maintain farm equipment as required.
  • Assist with general clean-up of fencing, fields and outbuildings.
  • Work with team members to ensure tasks are completed within timelines and to specifications.
  • Perform general farm maintenance and upkeep of facilities.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Report any issues or incidents to the supervisory staff or property owner promptly.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Previous experience in farming or agricultural roles is preferred.
  • Ability to perform hard physical labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Familiarity with operating farm machinery is an asset.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
  • Valid driver’s license is required.

This temporary position pays $300 per day, based on a 10-hour shift, dependent upon experience.

Room and board will be provided on site.
