Job summary

Mid-Man Farms Ltd in Manitoba is seeking a Farm Grain Elevator Operator to manage grains stored in two elevators, Harte and Gregg, and operate the grain cleaner. Training provided; this is a full-time position with maintenance and repair work on the elevator and equipment.

Seeding and harvest times may require evenings and weekends; the role offers a competitive wage and a supportive team in a modern facility with newer equipment.

Qualifications

• Farm background or experience on farm equipment.
• Safely operate equipment.
• Experience repairing and maintaining buildings and equipment.
• Possess a valid driver's license (Class 1 preferred).
• Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Good communication and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage stored grains in two elevators (Harte and Gregg).

Job Description

We are searching for an individual to look after our grains stored in 2 elevators. We own elevators located at Harte and Gregg. Grains are loaded into the elevator during harvest and loaded out over the year until the next harvest. Stored grains need to be managed, and we also have a grain cleaner that is operational. Training provided for the correct person. This can be a full-time position with maintenance and repair work on the elevator and its equipment. We would consider a part-time schedule for the right person. Seeding and harvest times will require evenings and/or weekends.
