Job summary

BrokerLink Inc. in Central Alberta is seeking a Commercial Insurance Advisor to join our Sales & Service Book of Business team on a permanent full-time basis.

You will service an existing book (primarily farm), provide prompt advice, process applications, issue certificates, and support underwriters with quotes and renewals. You will build relationships with clients and insurers, negotiate terms, and help grow the book.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of customer service experience.
• Background in farm operations and agriculture sales; 3–5 years of insurance experience preferred.
• AIC Insurance License preferred or to obtain upon hire.
• EPIC experience is an asset.
• Proficient in MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Excellent customer service and sales skills; adept at conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Service existing book of business (primarily Farm).
• Provide customers with prompt service by giving advice and explaining insurance.
• Review and process all incoming commercial paperwork.
• Assist with quotes, write new business, review coverage and update client files.
• Prepare documentation for insurers and complete applications for new clients.
• Review endorsements and follow up on payments; communicate with insurers and underwriters.
• Source information requested by underwriters and complete applications.
