BGC Okanagan provides safe and supportive spaces where children, youth and families can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships, and build confidence and skills for life. BGCO is hiring a full-time and a part-time Family Support Worker for our Foster Parent Support Program at our Kelowna Club. The Support Worker provides direct support to caregivers and families, helping them develop skills and access resources to improve family functioning and ensure the well-being of young people. This role includes crisis intervention, advocacy, skill-building, and linkage to community services. Support Workers work collaboratively with families to create and implement individualized service plans while providing guidance and emotional support.

This position is open to all candidates and requires union membership.
Hours:
Role 1: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am-4:00pm;
Role 2: 17.5 hours per week, 2.5 days per week.
Rate of Pay: $29.17 per hour
