Job summary

Health Match BC is seeking a Family Physician to join a maternity clinic at Williams Lake’s Maternity Clinic in Cariboo Memorial Hospital. You will provide full-scope maternity care, from low- to high-risk obstetrics, with access to obstetricians, labs, and in-clinic ultrasound.

Join a team-based, supportive practice with flexible scheduling, no overhead costs, and on-site lab and ultrasound. Labour and delivery on-call opportunities are available but not required, offering a balanced lifestyle

Qualifications

• Active medical license in Canada or eligible for licensure
• Comfortable providing full-scope maternity services
• Collaborative, team-oriented and flexible

Responsibilities

• Provide full-scope maternity care, including low- and high-risk obstetrics
• Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses and hospital staff

Williams Lake’s Maternity Clinic is a unique and rewarding opportunity for a Family Physician passionate about maternity care. Located within Cariboo Memorial Hospital, the clinic offers seamless access to obstetrician support, lab services, and both hospital-based and in-clinic ultrasounds, creating an integrated and supportive environment for both providers and patients.

With full scope maternity care available, this role allows physicians to practice both low- and high-risk obstetrics, supported by onsite obstetricians as needed. Convenient access to lab services, ultrasound, and an in-clinic ultrasound ensures comprehensive care for patients in one location.
