Role and Facility Information

Simply Wellness Medical, an efficient and collaborative clinic committed to providing high-quality primary care to patients in the community, is looking to grow their team. The renovated office in Vancouver, near Kingsway and Commercial Drive, offers a passionate team of primary care providers and experienced support staff.

Coverage Request for 1 year starting April 1, 2025 (open to shorter terms and start date can be flexible between April to June 2025).

Panel size: ~1200 patients, spanning 0-100 years old, skewed toward young families and middle-aged population. The FP has been building their panel since early 2021. Currently 50/50 in-person and virtual, 4 days/week. Flexible scheduling. LFP model for payment. Possibility of extending NTP contract if desired.

Shift details: 75/25, 80/20 shifts on weekends and after hours, 100% LFP Panel Payments.

The clinic has 10 fully equipped exam rooms and a central provider charting room. The team includes 6 full-time family physicians, 1 full-time nurse practitioner, 2-3 locum physicians for coverage, and 1 full-time RN involved in various aspects of primary care. Specialists in cardiology and orthopedics are available weekly.

Support staff of MOAs facilitate efficient workflow, managing vitals, room prep, referrals, billing, and follow-up. Appointments are available virtually and in person, with providers managing their own schedules. The clinic supports flexible and reliable vacation coverage, with billing through the EMR.

Streamlined processes include online booking, encounter templates, pre-visit questionnaires, patient notifications, and a secure portal for lab and prescription communication. Cross coverage and protocols ensure timely access for patients.

Trial shifts are offered to assess fit with your skills and interests.
