Role and Facility Information

Simply Wellness Medical, an efficient and collaborative clinic committed to high-quality primary care, is looking to expand its team. Located in Vancouver near Kingsway and Commercial Drive, the clinic offers a passionate team of primary care providers and experienced support staff.

Coverage is requested for 1 year starting April 1, 2025, with flexibility for shorter terms and start dates between April to June 2025.

Panel size: approximately 1200 patients, spanning all ages, with a focus on young families and middle-aged populations. The panel has been built since early 2021. Currently, care is split evenly between in-person and virtual visits, with a 4-day workweek and flexible scheduling. Payment is based on the LFP model, with potential to extend the NTP contract.

Shift distribution: 75/25 or 80/20 on weekends and after hours, with 100% LFP Panel Payments.

The clinic features 10 fully equipped exam rooms, a central provider charting room, and a team including 6 full-time family physicians, 1 full-time nurse practitioner, 2-3 locum physicians for coverage, and 1 full-time RN involved in various aspects of patient care. Specialists in cardiology and orthopedics are available weekly.

The support team of MOAs ensures efficient workflow, assisting with vitals, room prep, referral tracking, billing, and follow-up. Appointments are available both virtually and in person, with providers managing their own schedules.

Streamlined processes include online booking, encounter templates, pre-visit questionnaires, patient notifications, and a secure portal for lab requisitions, prescriptions, and communication. Cross-coverage and protocols help maintain timely access to care.

Trial shifts are offered to assess fit with your skills and interests.
