About Sechelt

Located just 50 km northwest of Vancouver, Sechelt is a gem accessible by a scenic 40-minute ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay to Langdale, followed by a short 25-minute drive. The Opportunity

As part of the Primary Care Network initiative, you’ll join a community-based network of Family Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and allied health professionals. Together, we’re working to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care within one geographical location. This initiative spans across British Columbia, bringing together Divisions of Family Practice, Health Authorities, First Nations, and community partners to enhance primary care services.

Compensation Type: Clinical Service Contract
Estimated Remuneration: 0.5 FTE $156,115 + $11,466 (annual incentive for Patient Attachment System and Panel Management) + $37,500 (overhead allocation)
Physician Overhead: $37,500 (for 0.5 FTE) as per overhead amount provided via your contract.
Billing Split: N/A

Benefits and Incentives

Vacation Leave: The contracted FP (0.5 FTE) is expected to work 840 hrs/yr. Vacation time is covered through a short-term locum or with another practitioner in the practice.
