Job summary

Health Match BC in North Vancouver seeks a full-time family physician to join a physician-owned, team-based clinic. You can take over an existing panel or build your own, with flexible hours and a mix of in-office and virtual care.

The practice supports patient record transfer, EMR migration, and a collaborative multi-disciplinary environment. The clinic uses OSCAR EMR and offers IT, billing, admin, and virtual platform support, plus opportunities for teaching and competency development.

Role and Facility Information
There is an opening to take over, build your own practice or bring your practice with you to our team-based clinic in the heart of North Vancouver. We are a physician-owned and managed facility with strong collegial support and lots of opportunities for additional competencies training and teaching.
You Will Have

• Potential equity-based incentives for physicians to migrate their practice into our network
• We will support transferring patient records, training on EMR, assist with EMR migration costs, and will often address financial obligations the physician may encounter as a part of moving their practice
• We regularly have physicians who need to take extended time off. For physicians or locums providing extended coverage, we will provide competitive terms and often further incentivize them to join us temporarily or in a full-time capacity.
• Work with a highly collaborative and multi-disciplinary team of professionals and specialists.
• Tools and technology designed to empower and support physicians.
• You will have access to our Virtual Care solution which can be used while in a clinic or from your own home. We offer the newest digital tools, including virtual care, to help with patient care and accessibility. You will be provided with the flexibility of creating your own workflow, whether in a clinic or from home.
• Support from dedicated teams covering IT, EMR software, billing, admin, and the virtual platform. We offer free training. You also have support from our Physician Success Team who are your advisor/advocate to ensure a positive experience within the Well network. The team works alongside you as you build your practice or take over an existing patient panel.
  

You can have a comfortable combination of virtual vs office care at your preferred hours. You will thrive in a friendly and supportive environment.
The ideal physician would be in a position to provide full-scope family practice full-time. This position can have if desired a walk-in component. Our team will work with you to ensure there is a smooth transition of the practice. You can expect flexible hours and will be masters of your own schedule. Financials
Average Monthly Overhead Agreement: Billing Split – 70/30* (FFS) or 75/25 is on a new model of LFP.

Special Services
Family Practice, Pain Management, Skin Care Centre by referral only
On Call Arrangement
All physicians in the practice will take turns in rotation with a group of all clinic physicians. Very low-volume calls with the clinic phone and access to patients' charts make it easy
Staff
The clinic currently has 12 physicians working part-time and full-time, Podiatrist, two office managers and 10 MOA’s.
Files
The Clinic is currently using OSCAR EMR. There are no paper charts associated with the practice

IMGs eligible for provisional licenses to practice family medicine in BC are welcome to apply! We have the experience to assist in relocating eligible Conditional License physicians from Australia, the UK, the USA, and Ireland.
