Join to apply for the Family Practitioner/General Practitioner role at Health Match BC.

Role and Facility Information

Come and join our un-opposed clinic! You will have a rewarding opportunity to practice full-service rural medicine, working closely with surrounding First Nations communities (40% Indigenous population). The clinic hours are 9:00 to 5:00, with a flexible schedule that includes ED on-call rotations. There is no scheduled clinic work after your ED on-call shifts. Our community access includes surgical services, anesthesia, opioid alternative clinics, MAID, maternity, and virtual support 24/7.

Lillooet Hospital and Health Centre serves approximately 4,600 residents. It has 5 trauma beds in the ED, 6 inpatient beds (expandable to 8-10), and a 24/7 ED that sees about 450 patients per month. The attached long-term care facility enhances community healthcare services.

Several locum opportunities are available. Lillooet offers outdoor activities like hiking, biking, kayaking, and skiing, along with a full-service recreation centre.

Compensation & Benefits

Fee-for-Service with estimated remuneration of $200,000 to $350,000 based on patient volume, plus MOCAP. Overhead costs are shared.
