An established healthcare provider in the Central Okanagan is seeking a dedicated Family Practitioner to join their dynamic team at the West Kelowna Urgent and Primary Care Centre. This unique role offers the flexibility to balance professional and personal commitments, allowing you to work in a supportive environment that prioritizes both patient care and personal wellbeing. Collaborate with a diverse group of healthcare professionals to deliver urgent care to the community while enjoying the stunning landscapes and lifestyle that the region has to offer. If you're ready to make a meaningful impact in healthcare and embrace a work-life balance, this opportunity is for you.
The West Kelowna Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC) focuses on providing urgent and primary care to both attached and unattached patients in the Central Okanagan Primary Care Network (PCN). The UPCC provides urgent care for patients with non-life-threatening injuries, illnesses and conditions that should be addressed within 12 to 24 hours, but do not require the service and expertise of a hospital emergency department (CTAS 3,4,5).
The UPCC offers work-life balance with competitive wages, within a group services contract providing flexible hours and days and the contract group self schedules. Work in a larger-than-life landscape and four season’s playground.
Imagine a career that bends to the rhythm of your life, where the balance between professional fulfillment and personal wellbeing isn't just a dream, but your daily reality.
At our UPCC, you are invited to redefine what it means to be a dedicated physician. Our flexible model allows you to tailor your hours to complement your existing practice or personal commitments.
Step into a collaborative team where your expertise as a Family Practitioner is not just needed but celebrated. You'll join a vibrant group of healthcare professionals including Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Social Workers, Physiotherapists, Mental Health and Substance Use Clinicians, and Medical Office Assistants. Together, you ensure that urgent care flows smoothly and effectively, meeting the pressing needs of the community with precision and empathy.
Our UPCCs are not just a place of work; they are dynamic and supportive environments where professional growth is as much a priority as patient care.
If you're ready to infuse your medical practice with newfound flexibility and join a team where your clinical acumen will make a tangible difference, we invite you to consider this unique opportunity.
