Job summary

Medcan Health Management Inc. seeks Family Physicians to join our clinic teams across Ontario, delivering comprehensive care and building lasting patient relationships in a collaborative environment.

You will work with our extensive referral network, participate in on-site CME, and contribute to a patient-centered wellness journey. This role emphasizes flexible scheduling and team support for high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Strong service-minded approach to providing excellent comprehensive care.
• Empathetic and collaborative working style to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Commit to working at Medcan for a minimum (1) day per week.
• Begin to take on patients at a manageable pace after onboarding at Medcan.
• Current registration in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
• An active OHIP billing number.
• CCFP designation, CCFP (EM) designation or FRCPC designation.
• Experience in preventive care and wellness is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with patients and understand all interconnected aspects of their health and wellness journey.
• Craft well-rounded clinical and wellness diagnoses and treatment plans with our referral partners; referral process handled by our team.
• Engage with and learn from our team through daily lunches, on-site continuing medical education, and product development initiatives at Medcan.
• Additional responsibilities as needed depending on clinical team and business area.
