Job summary

Fort York Medical Clinic in Downtown Toronto (Bathurst & Lakeshore) seeks a physician to join a busy primary care practice with equity partnership potential and a strong patient base.

You will work in a tech-enabled environment with Accuro EMR and Heidi AI, supported by an on-site pharmacy and administrative team, providing high-quality care with a flexible, balanced schedule including potential hybrid/virtual days.

Qualifications

• Must hold CPSO license or be eligible for independent practice in Ontario.
• Certification in Family Medicine and CFPC membership.
• Completed MD and Family Medicine residency.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada (Citizen, PR, or valid work permit).

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care in a high-volume clinic (approx. 40–50 visits/day) with a focus on efficient, patient-centered service.
• Utilize tech-enabled charting: Accuro EMR integrated with Heidi AI to streamline notes.
• Collaborate with on-site pharmacy and administrative team to maintain smooth patient flow and comprehensive care.

• Efficient Workflow: The walk-in volume is fast-paced and highly efficient, consisting mostly of straightforward diagnostics (UTIs, URTIs, STIs/STDs), medication renewals, men's and women's health, weight management, musculoskeletal issues, and standard blood work or DI requisitions. The remaining volume allows you to focus heavily on comprehensive chronic disease management.
• Streamlined Scope: To keep the clinical day completely streamlined and low-friction, we operate with a strict no narcotics policy.

Qualifications
