We are seeking a full-time family physician to join our Maternity Department at Royal Columbian Hospital. Our team works closely with Obstetricians and multiple midwifery groups. We handle approximately 3,100 births per year, with a Level 3 nursery, 9 labour rooms, and 30 maternity beds. Caesarean sections are performed in the main operating room.
Our department is well supported by a local Diabetes Education Program and the MFM group. The hospital is a preferred site for family practice residents, with whom we collaborate on call and in clinics. We have an urgent need in our community. There are opportunities to share existing office space within the community. The anticipated start date is June 1, 2025, or sooner.
