What you will be doing:
Provide comprehensive primary care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic illnesses.
Perform routine health screenings, physical exams, and preventative care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with Ontario health standards and EMR usage.
Coordinate patient care with specialists, other healthcare providers, and community resources as needed.
Educate patients and families on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment options.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and practice-based learning.
Adhere to professional standards, policies, and procedures, and comply with all applicable regulations under the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
What you must have:
Medical degree (MD) and completion of residency in Family Medicine.
Full registration (or eligibility) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
Certification in Family Medicine from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Experience with EMR systems is preferred.
Eligible to work in Canada and obtain appropriate billing number with OHIP.
Salary/Rate Range: $300,000 – $400,000
