Job summary

Colwood Family Practice in Colwood, BC is recruiting two Family Physician Locums to support a five-physician team. The maternity leave locum begins March 2027, with ongoing coverage as part-time duties and potential long-term opportunities within the clinic network.

The successful candidates will be supported by the South Island Primary Care Society and will join a strong administrative and operational team designed to promote work-life balance and sustainable patient care.

Qualifications

• Full licensure with College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.

Responsibilities

• Join an established five-physician family practice in Colwood, BC.
• Provide maternity leave locum coverage beginning March 2027.
• Support ongoing locum coverage for part-time practice.
• Collaborate with the South Island Primary Care Society (SIPCS) and practice staff.
• Work within clinic hours 8:00 AM–4:00 PM with scheduling flexibility.
• End of term negotiable with 3 months notice.

We would love to welcome physicians who are looking for more than a short-term locum. Your time with Colwood Family Practice will be supported by the South Island Primary Care Society (SIPCS), and there may be opportunities to become a permanent part of our growing primary care team.
