Job summary

MPA Recruitment has been engaged by a leading private healthcare provider to recruit a Family Physician for their Calgary clinic. The practice emphasizes preventative care and a high practitioner-to-patient ratio, with 10–12 patients seen daily and hours from 8:30am to 5pm, plus virtual on‑call duties every 6–8 weeks.

Salary ranges up to $500k CAD per year. Relocation expenses may apply, with an optional health benefits program.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved medical school and completion of two to three years of family medicine residency training.
• Licensed with the Medical Council of Canada.
• Registered and in good standing with The College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) or Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC).

Responsibilities

• See 10 to 12 patients per day in a private healthcare setting.
• Practice hours Monday to Friday 8:30am–5pm with virtual on-call duties every 6–8 weeks.

MPA have been retained by a leading private healthcare provider to recruit for a Family Physician for their practice based in Calgary.
The client is a leading multidisciplinary practice that has grown significantly in recent years. They focus on comprehensive healthcare programs that are adopted to provide a preventative approach to disease, ultimately leading to patients living healthier, happier lives. The clinic has a high practitioner, clinician, physician to patient ratio allowing practitioners to spend time with patients to deliver a quality care experience.
Their preventative model begins with a length analysis of patients' health history and completing a comprehensive health assessment, from these a tailored detailed plan is devised for each patient with ongoing testing and assessments to prevent disease and catch illnesses early. You would expect to see between 10 to 12 patients per day.

Practice hours between Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5pm, with virtual on call duties once every 6-8 weeks which is compensated.
Requirements
