Nova Scotia Health invites physicians to join the North Cumberland Collaborative Clinic in Pugwash, delivering primary care as part of a collaborative family practice with physicians, NPs, nurses and allied health professionals.

The role is full-time (1.0 FTE) with a longitudinal Family Medicine contract and incentives, including potential relocation support. The clinic operates within a rural site offering inpatient and LTC components and dedicated EMR documentation.

Join an established collaborative family practice in Pugwash, working alongside physicians, NPs, nurses, and allied health to provide primary care to the community. North Cumberland Collaborative Clinic is an approved LFM Rural Small Site. In addition to a Family Medicine practice, LFM Rural sites are in a community where additional services other than family medicine are delivered including inpatient coverage, Level 4 ED or Urgent Treatment/Care Centre (UTC/UCC), and Long-term care (LTC).

• call schedule: associated with inpatient work

Remuneration

• Longitudinal Family Medicine(LFM) contract approximately391,138.38CAD
• LFM Rural Small Site remuneration adds a modifying percentage of up to 10% for participation in inpatient, urgent or emergent care, and long-term care in the community which may vary by independent participation.Only Inpatient or ED counts as the first modifier (can’t qualify for LFM Rural if only doing LTC)

North Cumberland Memorial Hospital (NCMH) was built in 1966 with local support and fundraising. It serves the communities of Pugwash, Wallace,Malagash, Port Howe, and surrounding areas.
